Google
Fit Smartphone App displays two main views. Through one view, you will come to
know how many steps you have taken along with a countdown to your average. The
second view shows you the summed up picture of how much exercise you have done
with details of any other activities like cycling, running or walking.
Google Fit Smartphone App will
set one hour of activity per day as it's default goal. But you customize it
according to your need or your flexibility level by clicking on the menu button
selecting settings and clicking Daily Goals. In the same place, you will see a
prompt to enter your height and weight details. If you are in the weight-loss
process, the app will help you track your daily, weekly or monthly loss of
weight in kilograms.
To keep you stay focused on
your fitness mission, Google Fit will regularly send you reminders and updates
regarding your fitness goals that have been set earlier. You can also have your
fitness data chart that depicts your progress since you have started exercising.
In the main page of the Google Fit app “See graph details" option will
help you see the data details.
For the people who would not
wish to exercise with their phones along, Google Fit has the options of walking,
running, biking or other activities and also add up the time taken for the
activities. Google Fit will consider the data entered and add the active time
to your profile. For certain activities like walking and running it will
automatically estimate the amount of steps you took. One interesting features
of Google Fit is that you can connect your fitness devices from Strava,
Withings, Runtastic, Runkeeper and Noom Coach to the Google Fit app itself to
integrate all of your fitness data into one place. Thus Google Fit can be
regarded as a life-enhancer that plays a great role in the lives of people who
