Google Assistant In Smart Displays

Google Assistant is going to be your new digital buddy that is made compatible with Android Marshmallow and Nougat phones with Google Play Services. Google Assistant is full-on service app that obeys to the user’s commands in a more smart way ranging from managing their appointments to reminding them where they have parked their vehicle. You may wonder that those services are what Google Now does render already. Indeed it does but Google Assistant is designed to render the similar services and even more with a more friendly conversational interface with enhancing features.

As like Google Now, Google Assistant performs web searching, scheduling tasks, setting reminders, adjusting the volume and help accessing information from your Google Accounts. So to render really enhanced services, Google Assistant brings users the required information in a more accessible format. For instance if you ask " what are the nearby departmental stores?" , Google Assistant presents results briefly and precisely  like one-sentence answers rather than presenting you the entire Google page with search results.

Google Assistant is said to have a better artificial intelligence than not only Google Now , but also Apple's Siri and Microsoft's Cortana can have a better rapport with you through learning personal information about you like your date of birth , your favorite color or your favorite dish and also remembers information from your previous conversations with Google Assistant itself. So it is understood that, the more you make use of Google Assistant, the more better with the Google Assistant will get to know about you and render smart services to you.

Google Assistant does have the great ability of reading text within the images which captured by camera like signs, menu and others which can be translated into notes for future use if needed.  You can gain access to  Google Assistant's voice command services by just saying " Ok Google" that  brings you results regarding to whatever you ask for like  the weather updates, cricket scores, latest business news and everything. Beyond asking general questions, you can also have extended services that Google Assistant will get into connection with the apps and services that exist in your devices. By the way, it will help you complete many tasks with voice commands itself. For instance , you can ask Google Assistant to get you  pictures in gallery that are geotagged with people or any particular location by saying" show me the photos clicked in  Malaysia". Likewise you can get emails regarding any specific meetings or events and many other things.

If you are not in a situation to use Google voice command like in places like library, you can continue getting services through typing . You just need to hold down the home button to trigger the Google Assistant and can start typing your needs.

Google Assistant is designed to be more personalized as it will show how your day has been planned. By accessing information from your calendar entries and to do list , Google Assistant  shows you what are all the tasks you need to do like where you need to go and in what time and also how can you get there. So before even you start your day, you can get to know things by just saying “tell me about my day”.

With Google Assistant, not only your personal / official needs are met but also your digital needs are served as now you can troubleshoot your phone if something is not working. You can troubleshoot things like problems with your phone's speakers, battery life or Bluetooth settings and more. As of now this feature seems to be working with Pixel 2 XL and it's likely to be available in more devices in the near future.

Google Assistant can be preferred for not just information needs but also for our leisure needs. Google is likely to bring in cool new 50 games and activities into Google Assistant that is compatible with Android phones and now with iOS devices too. Sadly Google Assistant seems to be not compatible with tablets at least for now.
