Apple accuses Qualcomm for invalid chip licenses at US federal court

As we know that for the past few months two American multinational companies Apple and Qualcomm are fighting for the royalty issues, now case is running in the US federal court. In addition, on that case Apple Inc. submitted a point in the court that license, which secure the Qualcomm chip making is invalid. By this strong argument Apple takes one step advantage on the case of royalty payment against the Qualcomm Company.

Executive vice president of Qualcomm Mr. Don Rosenberg told press in his email statement, that “Apple is trying to distract from the fact that it has made misleading statements about the comparative performance of its products, and threatened Qualcomm not to disclose the truth”.

Arguments of Apple against Qualcomm

In the month of January,2017 world largest IT company Apple sued telecommunication company of Qualcomm for improper chip making and asking refund of $1 billion of its payment made before, still the arguments from both the companies makes incapable of being judged to the court. Now in the US federal court Apple has a strong front point as argument that an authoritative decision involving Lexmark showed that the telecommunication company Qualcomm was allowed to only single reward for its property and their products. Qualcomm Company must be allowed to charge for any one of chip or a patent right, not for both things.

Apple also argued that the case is between our company and the Qualcomm, so Apple has asked the US Federal court to end the lawsuits filed by the Qualcomm against Apple iPhone assemblers of Foxconn Technology and three others in it. We have to wait and watch for the Qualcomm next step.
