Xiaomi which was just an
entrant into India few years ago now has marked its marvellous presence in the world
market. Xiaomi's Redmi series mobile phones are well known for its low cost yet

experience completely easier and advantageous for its users. Redmi Y1 Lite Smartphone is the new entrant
from Xiaomi's family launched in the month of November 2017, In china it was
launched in the name of Redmi Note 5A.

to be the budget Smartphone, Redmi Y1 Lite Smartphone features a bright 5.5
inch display with 720p resolution renders you a vivid and crystal clear viewing
experience. The perfectly crafted display has been guarded by 2.5D curved glass
and Corning Gorilla glass for scratch resistance. Even though the body has been
made up of plastic, it appears to be a premium phone with sleeky design as if
it is covered by metallic frame. Yet no drawbacks could be felt as it sits
perfectly comfortable in to the user’s hands. Also the eccentric look can't
just be ignored that the Y1 Lite Smartphone is available in dark grey and gold
colors.
Performs as good and
efficient as it looks being accompanied by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, 2
GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The memory space can be expanded via Micro SD card
up to 256 GB. By the way Redmi Y1 Lite Smartphone get rids of the hybrid sim
slot and that is a highly welcomed feature.
Running with Android 7.1.2
Nougat over MIUI 9 platform which is launched recently and it is believed that
Xiaomi will sooner upgrade the Y1 Lite Smartphone version to the Oreo version.
Considering the price, it
can be said that Redmi Y1 Lite Smartphone gives a quite fair- enough
photographic experience through its 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. Cannot be
termed as average it gives impressive outdoor shots with cool detailing and
sharpness. The 5MP selfie camera throws decent selfies and nothing much to
exaggerate about it. On the whole, the camera features is of nothing new but
renders you what is basically required.

connectivity extends to GPS, Bluetooth, USB, 3G and 4G VoLTE and embraces
Compass sensor, magnetometer, Proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light
sensor. The smart phone's battery is of 3080 mAh capacity that can keep the
device active for at least 1 to 2 days which depends upon your usage level. The
presence of IR blaster can be highlighted for running dual apps.
Being a budget phone, Redmi
Y1 Lite Smartphone can be considered as a right choice only for users who would
prefer using mobile only for calling, websurfing and accessing social media
sites like Facebook and Whatsapp. If you are a heavy user, then Redmi Y1 Lite Smartphone
doesn't help you instead you can go for Redmi Y1 Smartphone. For gamers, only
light games can be handled as the snapdragon processor exists in Y1 Lite Smartphone
is not much powerful to handle heavy games.
