HTC Vive Virtual Reality Headset Price Dropped

The virtual reality system manufacturing companies are trying to change the people from reality world to virtual reality world, the best example for that is price dropping of Oculus and now the HTC Vive. Few months back, Facebook’s Oculus company has reduced the price of their products (Rift headset and motion controllers) to $399 from the actual price of $800 for summer offer, this was one of the major price cut in the market of virtual reality systems.
To complete with that sale, the HTC Company has reduced the price of the product to $599 from the previous price of $799. The offer sale of Oculus Rift will end after the summer period, still the price of Rift will remain low in the range of $499, actually this is lesser then the price of HTC Vive VR headset.

Although the HTC Vive virtual reality machine is more comfortable when compare to the oculus Rift, the company says. The two virtual reality machines are having the most common specification, but have some slight variations in the usage. The HTC Company told that, the price drop of $200 is planned before the Oculus Rift price cut. Both the companies of HTC and Facebook’s Oculus are doing a big war in the virtual reality market to obtain the first place. Even though, HTC Vive has not reduced the price like the others to maintain the premium quality of the product. But the fact is, many of the users are not much satisfied with the products of two brands.

The actual problem of both the virtual machine is not the price but the cost of powerful personal computer. Both the machines need a powerful computer to operate which cost more than $700. The HTC company is working to make the users more comfortable with the virtual reality machines, the price drop is one of the reason for that. The HTC Company also introduced an integrated linked option audio head straps, it will try to join the technologies of wireless streaming and eye tracking to the headset through different add-ons.

Microsoft have started to sell the mixed reality headsets from the various hardware companies and also working on wireless virtual reality headset for their product of upcoming Xbox One X, so this would create more competition in the virtual reality market.
